Physician Assistant Graduate ProgramsPhysician Assistant (PA) graduate programs focus on patient care and primary and specialty care in medical and surgical practices. Physician assistants work under the supervision of physicians, but training typically covers a wide range of diagnostic, therapeutic and preventative health care services which prepares them for a wide range of functions, such as: conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, counseling on preventative care, assisting in surgery, and in most states, writing prescriptions.
Texas Brain and Spine Institute Postgraduate Physician Assistant Residency in Neurosurgery

The Texas Brain and Spine Institute in affiliation with the Central Texas Education Group have developed an intensive and comprehensive twelve month didactic and clinical program in Neurologic Surgery for the Physician Assistant which provides the resident with the knowledge and skills necessary to care for the neurosurgical patient.
- (6) 8 week rotations and 1 week CME at the annual American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Conference
- Rotations include spine, vascular, tumor, neurotrama, critical care and PEDs
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded upon successful completion of the program.
