This program has been reviewed and is approved for a maximum of 32.5 hours of AAPA Category I CME credit by the Physician Assistant Review Panel. Physician assistants should claim only those hours actually spent participating in the CME activity.


PAs in Anesthesia functions as a specialty physician assistant under the direction of a licensed Anesthesiologist to develop and implement anesthesia care plans.

Job QualificationsQualifications may include numerous years of physician assistant practice and a master degree in a related field.
Duties & Responsibilities

Performs the same duties as Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.
